Anna Homann
Volunteer for the SCN2A community in Germany and Europe
Anna is a passionate mother of two lovely sons. 2018 Luka had a heavy start in live with severe epileptic encephalopathy starting with seizures on day 2 after birth. He eventually was diagnosed with a then unknown de novo mutation in SCN2A at the age of six month. The biggest wish of his big brother Noah is to play soccer together with Luka one day. Driven by this goal, Anna is actively engaging in networking with other affected SCN2A families in German and Russian speaking countries and beyond, as well as with researchers and experts worldwide.
She is a neurologist and has a doctorate in medicine.
